What is hypnosis?   Hypnosis is something we experience all the time, we know it by other names such as day dreaming, selective attention, the zone, relaxation, or meditation.  It is simply a state of relaxation in the mind and body.

Hypnotherapy is an effective tool for clearing up emotional, mental, and physical discomforts. The Hypnotherapist uses relaxation techniques, such as breathing, guided imagery, and the senses to create a pathway to the subconscious mind.

In most of our daily experience we use our conscious mind. It's linear, logical, and categorizes the events in our lives.  The draw back...it only makes up about 10% of the mind, while our subconscious mind makes up the other 90%. Most of our lives are stored and recorded in our subconscious mind yet we do not have direct access too it.  This is where hypnosis comes into play.  Hypnosis is a tool (one of a three) that accesses the subconscious part of our mind.

You have experienced trying to make changes by talking yourself into it?  You use positive affirmations and make committments to yourself only to find yourself doing the same thing again?  That's often because in order to make meaningful and long lasting change, change has to occur in the subconscious mind.

Use hypnosis to...

  • Eliminate negative thinking
  • Change ineffective behaviors
  • Improve confidence and performance
  • Disrupt unhealthy patterns
